- Researcher in the field of environmental law since 1998. After specialising in Administrative Law and Environmental law at the Complutense and Carlos III Universities, she began her research work on environmental responsibility and distribution of environmental competences at the University of Murcia. As a result of this first stage she published these monographs: Responsabilidad patrimonial de las AAPP, Tecnos, 2000, Articulación del ordenamiento ambiental en el Estado autonómico, Atelier, 2001 and Responsabilidad ambiental de las Administraciones públicas, Ministry for the Environment, 2005.
- Subsequently, her research work has developed in the field of protected natural areas, law on water, renewable energy and more recently Bioenvironmental law, maintaining interest in the development of the institution which was the subject of her doctoral thesis, environmental responsibility. Since then she has constantly published in journals and collective and individual books on these subjects, both in Spain and Latin America. Her current scientific and technical interests particularly focus on the field of soil pollution, coastal damage, renewable energy and land stewardship and other voluntary instruments for environmental management.
- She is the main researcher of an R&D projected requested to the Regional Administration of Murcia on historical environmental damage and she participates in Argentine research projects on Environmental law in a comparative context. She is currently promoting the integration of her Research Group with other research groups from the Universities of Mendoza, Buenos Aires and Cordoba (Argentina), Lille 2 (France), Second University of Naples (Italy) and the research groups on Environmental law of the Universities of A Coruña and Rovira i Virgili.
