About the ECOVER Network

The “Market and Environment Network. Legal Proposals for a Green Economy” (ECOVER) is a platform for academic collaboration formed by university professors specialising in Environmental Law.

The Network focuses on carrying out scientific studies and activities on Environmental Law as an intervention factor on economic activity to guarantee the protection of environmental public interest, on the one hand, and as a tool to orient and boost the market towards socially responsible behaviour, on the other.

Note: In late 2014 the ECOVER Network secured funding for the development of its activities until the end of 2015, by Ruling of 8th October, 2014 through which aid is granted for the consolidation and structuring of competitive research units of the Galician university system, announced by the Order of 14th May, 2014 (DOG no. 199, 17th October 2014)
